Built for Tablets, With a New Guide Editor
Survivalist now makes full use of the bigger screen on iPad and Android tablets. Guides get a new editor, every area gets a new home screen, and the app speaks Spanish.
Optimised for tablets
A sidebar and a side-by-side layout let you browse your caches, plans and guides while you edit them, in portrait or landscape.
Details in a side panel
Items and plan steps open in a panel next to the list, so you never lose your place.
Three-pane Emergency Mode
On a tablet, phases, steps and progress sit side by side, with large step cards you can tick off under stress.
A new guide editor
Headings, bold, italic, strikethrough, bullet and numbered lists, web links, and links from plan steps straight to your guides.
New home screens
Control, Plan and Learn each open on a summary of what you have, with shortcuts to start something new or import a file.
Now in Spanish
Survivalist is available in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Change the language in Settings.

When you share something, decide whether the people you send it to can share it again.
Easier for everyone
Better support for larger text, stronger colour contrast, clearer screen reader labels and bigger buttons.

Android gets every feature in this release, tablet layout included, and files move freely between iOS and Android.
Fixes and improvements
- Changes are always saved when you close a form
- Turning on expiry alerts fills in a starting date for you
- The expiring-items count and list always agree
- Plans shared from Android keep their risk colour on iOS
- Number fields, like quantities, can be cleared and retyped
- Cancelling a new cache item no longer leaves an empty item behind
- Links in Emergency Mode are easier to read
- More of the app is translated into Portuguese and Spanish
